The Application Engineer will use their specialist knowledge to serve as a sales and technical representative. You will work within a fast-paced and collaborative team alongside colleagues with experience in R&D, engineering, biomechanics, and marketing. Delsys provides mentorship and training opportunities for growth into leadership roles as the company expands.
Your main responsibilities:
Your main goal is to expand business opportunities for Delsys. You will be responsible for actively communicating with Delsys’ existing and prospective clients by answering queries, providing technical advice, and demonstrating how to use the Delsys product line.
In brief,
- Engage with prospects to assess customer needs, identify potential sales opportunities, and advise on best solutions.
- Exhibit at regional and international conferences showcasing Delsys products for application-focused solutions in engineering, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.
- Drive lead generation through weekly information-seeking calls, collaborations, workshops, and demonstrations with researchers.
- Proactively keep up to date with market trends and applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific or technical discipline (e.g., engineering, physiology, biomedical, Sports Sciences, & life sciences).
- Knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, and/or human anatomy is a must. Laboratory experience is a plus.
- Demonstrable ability to blend technical knowledge with the business aspects of a medical device company.
- Willingness to travel (national and international).
