Staff Accountant

Delsys, a mid-sized manufacturing and R&D company in Natick MA, is looking for an accountant who is a self-starter, with operational accounting skills, and experience in a small business environment. We are seeking an accountant with 1-5 years of accounting experience in a small business environment.

Must be able to reliably commute to our office location in Natick.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting Management, or Business Administration with Accounting or similar degree program is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manages month-end close processes
• Responsible for day-to-day accounting including month-end and year-end close, year-end audit, intercompany reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Provide financial information to the Corporate accountants/CPA’s
• Identify and implement improvements on internal controls, procedures, and forms around the month-end close process
• Play a key role in annual year-end audit; Prepare audit schedules and reconciliations as required
• Prepare sales/use tax returns for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings
• Performs other financial analysis and reporting as needed
