Winner of the 2015 ISB Emerging Scientist Award sponsored by prof. Carlo De Luca

On behalf of ISB, we have the great pleasure to announce the winner of the 2015 Emerging Scientist Award sponsored by Professor Carlo J De Luca: Dr. Shota Hagio, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and Kyoto University; for his work titled: “Existence of muscle synergies increases learning speed: simulation study based on neural network model”

The award honors excellence in graduate research in the area of motor control and electromyography and is associated with a monetary award of $ US 2,500.

Dr. Hagio will present his work in the award’s session at the 2015 ISB Congress in Glasgow on Thursday July 16th, from 2:20 – 4:10 PM.
