DESCRIPTION:The Second IEEE Conference on Telepresence\, TELEPRESENCE 2025\, will be held 8-10 September 2025\, in Leiden\, The Netherlands. The conference will provide a stimulating forum for researchers\, educators\, and practitioners to learn\, share knowledge\, report the most recent innovations and developments\, and exchange ideas and advances in all aspects of telepresence systems and applications\, telerobotics\, haptics\, human-machine interfaces\, learning from humans\, and autonomy. Integrative approaches are particularly welcome. TELEPRESENCE 2025 will include keynotes by Prof. Thomas B. Sheridan\, Dr. Serena Ivaldi\, Dr. Jessica Grenouilleau and Prof. Darwin G. Caldwell\, industry panels\, special sessions\, and exhibits to enrich fruitful discussions. In addition to impactful technical interactions\, Leiden offers attendees significant opportunities for social and cultural interactions as well as the opportunity for a Technical Tour of the European Space Research and Technology Center (ESTEC).

SUMMARY:European Society for Movement Analysis in Adults and Children (ESMAC) 2025
DESCRIPTION:During the conference\, the keynote speakers Prof. Annegret Mündermann\, Prof. Georg Rauter\, and Dr. Léonie Asboth will share their clinical and/or technical knowledge with the ESMAC audience. The honoured Baumann lecture\, in memory of Professor Baumann\, will be presented by Prof. Julie Stebbins. \nDuring the 3-days pre-conference Gait Course\, a multidisciplinary international team of experts in gait analysis will guide the attendees through the techniques and interpretation of gait analysis for research and clinical practice. During the days preceding the conference\, we are planning four seminars. \nThe pre-conference seminars and Gait Course will be hosted at the Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz (FHNW). The FHNW building is a vertical campus\, with an excellent infrastructure and a lot of space for encounters. For the main conference we will continue at the ZLF of the University of Basel (USB)\, which is located in the heart of Basel\, in direct neighborhood to the University Children’s Hospital (UKBB). It is also the place for the welcome reception and opening ceremony. Our Charity run will follow a wonderful course along the river Rhein and part of the Old Town of Basel. We want to make the donation for the «Stiftung pro UKBB»\, which is dedicated to the well-being of sick children and young people.

DESCRIPTION:​The Expertise and Skill Acquisition Network (ESAN) organises an interdisciplinary conference encompassing both cutting-edge experimental and applied research within the Expertise\, High-Level Performance\, and Skill Learning domains. ESAN is a not-for-profit organisation that is in its 9th Year. \nThe aim of ESAN is to identify and fill lacunas in Expertise and Skill Learning research whilst simultaneously bridging the gap between theory and practice. \nOur annual meetings are attended by all facets of the Expertise and High Performance Sport community\, including the scientific community\, researchers\, academics\, policy makers\, sports funding strategists\, coaches\, performance analysts\, sports scientists\, sports directors\, and both past and current athletes. The unique coming together of these delegates results in innovative discussions surrounding the bottleneck issues\, recent research advances\, and voids that need to be addressed and updated. We believe there is great benefit to be had in the academic community informing the applied community and\, in turn\, the applied community shaping the research questions of the academic community.
