Calculations > Threshold Search

Parameters

First Cycle Starts At (sec)

The location where the first event (peak) occurs.

Cycle Length (sec)

The approximate duration of one period of the cyclic activity (alternately, the approximate distance between two peaks).

Search Window Length (sec)

The duration around each estimated peak location to search for the local maximum.

Peak Type

Choose whether the Threshold Search looks for maximums (peaks) or minimums (valleys).

Scale Output

If selected, the output is scaled to be equal to the standard deviation where the input signal exceeds the threshold criterion.

Rectify Input

If selected, the input data is rectified.

Low Pass Filter Input

If selected, the input data is low-pass filtered prior to applying the threshold cutoff, but after rectification (if selected).

Low Pass Filter Cutoff Frequency (Hz)

If the low pass option is selected, this is the cutoff frequency used for the low-pass filter.
