A/D Channel Allocation

Displays the sensor names and types assigned to each channel in the selected A/D device.  If a row is double-clicked, the channel gain can be adjusted.  Adjustment of channel gains is recommended only for Bagnoli systems.  For other systems, the gain is not adjustable, and use the sensor calibration to display sensor data in native units on the screen.  Check the A/C Couple checkbox in the settings window to AC couple the data on the selected channel.  For more about AC Coupling, see the AC Coupling section below

 

Note: the symbol that appears next to the "AC Couple Channel" checkbox when it is checked is indicative of the channel being AC Coupled.  It is also present during data collection.
